Tottori Sand Dunes
Access to Tottori Sand Dunes, a must-visit place in Tottori sightseeing, is about 15 minutes by car (about 5km). Or take a bus from Tottori Station for about 20 minutes and get off at the Dune Center. The adjacent sand museum is also a popular spot.
Hakuto Beach
It is about 20 minutes (about 12km) by car to the beautiful white rabbit beach of white sand. Or take a bus from Tottori Station about 40 minutes and get off in front of Hakuto Shrine. There is also a roadside station where you can eat.
Hakuto Shrine
The Hakuto Shrine is located opposite the Hakuto Beach and is known as a marriage power spot. Approximately 20 minutes by car (about 12 km), similar to the Shirahagi Beach Or take a bus from Tottori Station about 40 minutes and get off in front of Hakuto Shrine.
Tottori Port (Minato Park)
It is about 15 minutes (7km) by car to Tottori Port with a spacious park. Or take a bus from Tottori Station for about 30 minutes and get off at Karo Chuo.
Seafood Market Karoichi
It is about 15 minutes (7.5km) by car to seafood market Karoichi where you can shop and eat seafood. Or about 35 minutes by bus from Tottori Station, get off in front of aquarium called Kanikkokan.
A Sightseeing Boat to Uradome Coast Island

San'in Kaigan Geopark
Located in the vast San'in Kaigan Geopark area, it takes about 30 minutes (approximately 19km) by car to the Shirohara coast where you can see the superb view of Uradome coast.

Higashihama Station
It tooks 35 minutes (approximately 23km) by car to Higashihama Station where luxury sleeper train Twilight Express Mizukaze stops. About 30 minutes by JR line from Tottori Station. "Almare"an Italian restaurant with a view of the sea, is popular.
Mt Mitoku Sanbutsuji temple Nageiredo(thrown-on temple)
This is a national treasure also known as spiritual place. It takes about 45 min by car to Mt Mitoku Sanbutsuji temple (about 36km). It's also recommended to drop in at that Misasa-onsen(hot spring) around there.
Kurayoshi white wall storehouses
It is about 50 minutes (about 44km) by car toKurayoshi white wall storehouses where you can stroll through the retro streets.take the JR line from Tottori Station to Kurayoshi Station about an hour by train and take a bus from Kurayoshi Station to the red tiles・Shirakabe Dozo or Shirakabe Dozo-gun.
Mt. Daisen
It takes about an hour and 30 minutes (about 86km) bu car, the highest peak in the Chugoku region. It is a popular spot where you can enjoy nature as a mountain climbing or driving course.
Mizuki Shigeru Road
Sakaiminato is also within a day trip. It is about 2 hours (about 103km) by car to Shigeru Mizuki Road, a tourist spot.It takes about 3 hours from Tottori by JR line.
